Champaign Public Library's Nanette Donohue was elected to the American Library Association (ALA) Council. Her three-year term as councilor-at-large starts July 16. The Council is the top governing body for ALA, the world's oldest and largest library association. As the library's technical services manager, Donohue manages the cataloging, preparation, and inventory control of all library materials. She joined the library staff in 2003.
