The Danville Public Library and Buttons & Rainbows are combining forces to offer a free creativity workshop on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to Noon in the first floor Meeting Room.
Sara Ortiz will be the workshop presenter. She is the creator of Buttons & Rainbows whose mission is to “promote creativity for a better world.” She defines creativity as “the process of developing new, uncommon, or unique ideas using imagination rather than imitation”.
Seating is limited. To reserve a space, call Ms. Ortiz at 217-316-4882 by September 30.
Creativity workshops teach you how to be more creative through a combination of presentation and hands-on activities and projects. The goals are to give participants increased confidence about their creative abilities, to give them skills at home to get to know their family better, and to use those skills at work to solve problems more effectively.
The workshop will show how to use the Creative Process daily; will shatter myths about creativity; and will give you ways to increase your creative potential.
