Marshall Public Library invites you to attend a Late Summer Author Series on two more Thursday evenings this summer. Join us for a book talk by each author, conversation, and a chance to purchase a signed copy of his or her book.
On August 12, at 6:30 PM, Author Mike Lunsford of rural Parke County, Indiana, will make a return appearance at the library to talk about his second book, Sidelines: The Best of Basketball Stories, released last fall. The book is a compilation of 65 of the best basketball stories Mike has written for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star since he started his regular column in 1995. Walk with Mike back to a time when small-town coaches, away-game caravans, and cracker box gyms were king.
The final author in the series will be JG (Jo) Edwards, of Marshall, on August 19 at 6:30 PM. Her first novel, The Chronicles of the Light: The Dawn was recently published.
Authors John Kilgore and Shane Moore appeared at the library in July to discuss their books.
