The building for the Rochester Public Library District is located in Rochester, Illinois, a central Illinois community of 3,442 located five miles east of Springfield, Illinois.  The library service population is 7,164 spread over parts of two counties and coterminous with the Rochester 3A School District.  The Library District’s fiscal year 2009 budget is $370,000.00.
