Mid-Illinois Talking Book Center Director

The Alliance Library System (ALS) seeks a Mid-Illinois Talking Book Center Director to develop, plan, promote, administer, and evaluate the operation of the sub-regional Talking Book Center.
 
Responsibilities include the ability to

• Plan, direct, and supervise all activities for management of library service for the blind, visually impaired, physically handicapped and learning disabled residents of the Talking Book Center service area.

• Develop, manage, control, and evaluate the Talking Book Center's annual budget and plan of service; prepare monthly, quarterly, annual or other reports as required by the Illinois State Library and the Alliance Library System, plus other reports and surveys as required by the National Library Service.

• Maintain a positive working relationship with the Alliance Library System, its members, Illinois Talking Book Centers, and National Agencies; serve as a member of the Management Team.

 Other duties as assigned.
