Reminder that the test of local holds will begin on December 1, 2006 and will run for two months. If your library is interested in implementing Local Holds on December 1, please send an email to Pat Boze, pboze@lincolntrail.info
As of today, two libraries - Paris Union High School and Central Citizens' Library District - have elected to test local holds.
If you are a school or agency closing for an extended period of time over the holidays and want holds suspended during that time, please send an email to Helen Neal, hneal@lincolntrail.info, with the suspension starting and ending dates, as well as the name of your agency.
I have had a request from a library to have a condensed version of the serials training. This training will take place at the LTLS training center on December 7 at 1:00 p.m. (weather permitting). Depending on questions, it will probably last until 5:00 p.m. I will be discussing in particular how to add a new serial copy record into the system, how to add the publication pattern and the other available options for checking in the serial item.
