LTLS has finished the process of loading new/changed authority records into LINC. We do this by sending a file of recently added bibliographic records to LTI, who then sends back a file of new/changed authorities as well as bibliographic records that need to be updated to reflect these new authorities. For bibliographic records added from November through May, we loaded 2,944 new/changed authority records and 34,945 updated bibliographic records.
We've posted a 6 month summary (January - June 2007) of LINC Interlibrary Loan, Reciprocal Borrowing, and Circulation statistics. At this web site is an explanation of how the statistics were produced, as well as the statistical tables themselves.
-Interlibrary Loan data, which tracks where your materials circulate and what you circulate that belongs to other locations, is available for all libraries.
-Reciprocal Borrowing data, which tracks where your patrons go to borrow materials as well as what patrons used your location, applies to public libraries only.
-Circulation Statistics, which is a summary of all checkouts and renewals at your location, is available for all libraries.
Libraries that need individual monthly data should use the WebReporter reports referenced in the statistical explanations to produce their own monthly reports.
MyMediaMall circulation statistics for FY2007 (July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007) shows that the LINC library patrons are the highest circulating group in MyMediaMall. LINC library patrons circulated 5,196 items (out of a total of 34,273 total checkouts for all libraries). Also, the web catalog, LINCPac, refers from its web site the highest number of patrons to MyMediaMall (even higher than Google). See the individual monthly MyMediaMall statistics here.
