LINC Libraries and new ILDS delivery

Beginning January 2, the statewide delivery service (ILDS) will change dramatically. More than 140 libraries around the state will become direct stops. A memo was sent to every LTLS director about this upcoming change. Although two of the LINC libraries - Lake Land Community College (ZLN) and Lakeview College of Nursing (QLN) - will now be direct ILDS stops, LINC libraries should continue to use the gold bands or transit slips with their LINC 3-letter codes instead of their new ILDS codes. LTLS Delivery staff will route these materials accordingly on the ILDS system.

The LTLS Delivery web site has been updated with information about the new ILDS system, including a link to the new ILDS Label. Also, a posting in this week's LTLS Quick Connection points to a powerpoint about the new label and code changes.
