LINC Calendar Exceptions

As we approach the holiday season and the new year, remember that each location needs to update its Calendar Exceptions (holidays) so the Horizon software skips over those holidays for due dates.  Those users that have LINC security access can do this by clicking on the 'Calendar Exceptions' icon on the Horizon launcher. Search by your 3-letter location code to find your current calendar exceptions and add new holidays or edit as necessary.

Receipt Printer Font Size

In Horizon, if you are currently using receipt printers to print out transit slips, it's possible to change the font to make these receipts easier to read.  Anyone with LINC security that allows changing Receipt Options (under Circulation Tool Bar, choose drop-down menu Tools, then Receipt Options) can do this. When Windows Printing is selected, and the name of your printer is listed, click on Printer Setup, select Font, and change the current font to bold and or a larger size.  You will need to experiment with these settings but larger and bolder fonts are appreciated by those who are sorting materials.
