LINC Update

Library Elf Website

Do you have a link to Library ELF on your library website?  Library ELF is a subscription service, paid for by the LINC libraries, that lets users set up their own email or text notices, based on items overdue or on hold in LINC. This is particularly useful for users that have multiple cards and want one notice to include all cards. 

If you have a Library ELF link on your website, the link has changed for those libraries that subscribe to the service. It is now: http://www.libraryelf.org

This web site for subscribing libraries differs from the main site (http://www.libraryelf.com) in the following ways:
  - it does not contain any advertisment on the web site
  - it does not mention anything about individual subscriptions when your patrons signs up
  - it allows your library to brand the Library Elf web site with your logo
Note: your patrons can still continue to use the libraryelf.com site if they wish.

LTLS Closed October 12

In response to the FY2010 budget cut, LTLS will close on observed holidays for FY2010.  On Columbus Day, October 12, the office will be closed.  

LINC libraries may use an emergency phone, 1-217-979-1182, to report an emergency problem.  An emergency problem is defined as a completely unavailable product, such as Horizon, LINCPac, or SIP. 

New LINC members

Two new libraries have signed contracts to join LINC: Goose Creek Township Library (DeLand) and the Illinois Early Intervention Clearinghouse Library (Champaign).  These libraries are beginning the process of configuration and training and will be adding items and patrons over the next several months.
