LTLS announces the retirements of two key LINC staff members. Rita Johnson, LTLS employee for 35 years, will retire effective May 31, 2011. Helen Neal, LTLS employee for 33 years, will retire effective June 30, 2011.
These two invaluable employees have served the LINC libraries for many of their years of employment. During their tenure, the LINC automation consortium began and grew to its present number of 108 libraries. They have also supported 3 different automation systems (CLSI, Dynix, and Horizon). Their ability to remain calm during crises and their experience in solving problems has been invaluable. They will be missed.
