LINC Update

Serial Title Change from Your Big Backyard to Big Backyard = New Bib Record

Effective with the September 2011 issue (Vol. 15, issue 8) the periodical Your Big Backyard (ISSN 0886-5299), published by the National Wildlife Federation,  has undergone a title change to Big Backyard (ISSN 2162-2981). Holdings for issues from September 2011 forward should be attached to OCLC 740740611 in LINC.

LINC Btype Counts

We've posted a count of all LINC libraries' btypes which includes the number of borrowers assigned to a particular btype.  This is a snapshot count, from 8/12/2011.  If you have a btype that has no borrowers assigned to that btype and you are no longer using the btype, please send an email to Mary Johnston, mjohnston@illinoisheartland.org, so the btype can be deleted.

School Delivery Resumes August 22

IHLS Delivery staff will begin delivering to all schools again on Monday, August 22.  LINC staff are also turning on request for schools that have given dates to us.  For those that have not given us dates, requests will be turned on for remaining schools on August 29.
