We've received some questions about the turnaround time for the LINC Cataloging Center. As of today, February 2, 2012, the typical turnaround for copy cataloging (titles that already exist in OCLC) is 10 business days. Copy cataloging titles account for 99.9% of the titles received at the Cataloging Center. If you have searched LINC and are not able to locate a title, send the item to the LINC Cataloging Center as soon as possible so we can get it in the turnaround queue.
Items that are best sellers, have a large hold queue, or are of other local immediate interest should have a note stating it is a 'priority item' attached to it. Those titles will be moved to the top of the queue as soon as we receive them.
