LINC Training

I will be holding a series of LINC training in February.

Dates:

LINC - Getting Started - February 21 - 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
LINC - Basic Circulation - February 22 - 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
LINC - Adv. Circulation - February 23 - 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
LINC - Adding Items - February 23 - 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm


The workshops are $40 a piece or $120 for the series.

Saturday LINC training - CANCELLED

THIS TRAINING HAS BEEN CANCELLED
On Saturday, September 20, 2008, two of the basic core LINC classes will be offered for full and part-time staff that are unable to attend training during the work week.

Getting Started - 9:00 - 12:30 p.m.
Basic Circulation - 1:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Training will be held at the LTLS headquarters in Champaign, IL.

LTLS is currently re-writing it's online registration. It will be launched in the next couple of weeks. More information about online registration, next year's continuing education calendar and CLaSS information will be sent when the new online registration is ready to go.

MyMediaMall Open Training Month for staff

September 2008 is MyMediaMall's (OverDrive's) Open Training Month!

Training sessions will be offered four days a week throughout September with open enrollment and a contest for participating libraries.  You may register as an individual or as a group.

OverDrive (MyMediaMall) 2nd International User Group Conference

OverDrive's 2nd International User Group Conference will be held July 24-27, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio The conference will feature:
-Educational sessions, with live demonstrations and hands-on training from OverDrive experts
-Learn about the OverDrive MP3 Audiobook (compatible with iPods) and EPUB
-Promotion & Community Outreach
-Staff Training & Patron Support
-Take a personal tour of the Digital Bookmobile and have an early opportunity to discuss a potential event for your library
-Top publishers panel and exhibit hall
-Special events, including Cleveland Indians tickets, a tour of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a private reception and concert at the House of Blues

The $149 Conference fee includes 2 ½ days of informative sessions and networking, pre-conference private reception, 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and tickets to special events at Cleveland landmarks. Digipalooza '08 Conference announced

Overdrive, the vendor for MyMediaMall, has announced its 2nd International Library User Group Conference, for July 24-27, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio. For more information on this digital media in the library conference, registration fees, hotels, and featured presentations, visit the web site.
