Registration for Reaching Forward South Conference for Library Support Staff

The Reaching Forward South Conference for Library Support Staff registration form is ready. This year's conference will be held on September 20-21, 2007 at the Northfield Inn in Springfield. The theme will be "Outside the Box!" The Registration flyer includes the form, conference schedule and session descriptions, and information on nominations for the 2007 Support Staff of the Year Award. Schaumburg Library Oral History Project

Schaumburg Township District Library has added oral histories to the library’s Local History Digital Archive. Retired farmers, teachers, business owners, and others share their memories of old Schaumburg via digitized videos. Residents can simply go to the library’s Web site at http://www.stdl.org and click on Local History. This project was funded by an LSTA grant.
