Registration Reminder for ILS Symposium

The LTLS-sponsored Symposium on the Future of Integrated Library Systems will be held on September 13-15, in Champaign.  Online registration form, agenda, speaker bios and hotel information is available at the symposium website.  This is a major conference with nationally known speakers and promises to be an excellent opportunity for library staff and trustees to become better informed about the changing environment for integrated library systems.

Live & Learn Construction Grants

The State Library will post information on the FY2008 Public Library Live & Learn Construction Grant offering on the ILS web site as soon as possible. Details are not finalized yet because the amount of funding available for the program is unknown until a budget is adopted by the Illinois General Assembly and signed by the governor.  Once a state budget is signed, ISL will finalize dates for the program and post the grant documents on the State Library web page.  The announcement will also be made in this blog.
