Reaching Forward South Conference for Support Staff

It's almost time for this year's Reaching Forward South Conference for Library Support Staff to be held September 20-21, 2007 at the Northfield Inn in Springfield. The theme is "Outside the Box!" The keynote speaker will be Gail Johnson from Face to Face Communications and Training. Again this year, the conference has been expanded to include a session on Thursday afternoon, plus great entertainment by Storyteller Don Keding in the evening.

Do you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to their own library, the library community, or to the enhancement of library assistants in general? If so, be sure to submit a nomination for the Support Staff of the Year Award. The two award winners will each receive a $100 cash award!

GLIS Organizing and Preserving Family Treasures Workshop
