The State Library is seeking volunteers to assist with interviewing veterans on May 22 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (volunteers need not work the entire time). Training on how to conduct the interviews is available on WebJunction Illinois . If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please contact Lynda Maddox by Friday May 16th at (217) 524-5866.
The Illinois State Library has announced several workshops around the State for discussing the new public per capita grant requirements. LTLS will be hosting sessions as well in the Fall. Dates and times are still being arranged. We will announce the workshop on next year's calendar to be released in late July.

The Addison Public Library is giving away approximately 2000 Gressco KWIK DVD security cases (Gressco catalog # 89011), 2500 KWIK CD security cases (Gressco catalog # 89001), 50 KWIK extra capacity DVD security cases (Gressco catalog # 89014), and 25 KWIK double CD security cases (Gressco catalog # 89002).
