Instant Message @ LTLS

LTLS staff are available to staff and governing officials in member libraries through a variety of communications means. One that staff find very useful for connecting with members is Instant Messaging. Instant Messaging is a good way of finding out which consultant and manager is online during the day without calling or emailing. To check on our availablity go to the following web site http://www.lincolntrail.info/staffdir.html. At the site you can see who is online. Please note that LTLS staff currently uses AOL instant messaging. Other LTLS staff also have IM accounts in particular the LINC team and we will be posting that information in the near future. Watch this location for more information.

We believe that providing you with IM communications to our staff that we can make contacting us even easier.

Instant Messaging

The theme for our features articles for January is Social Networking. LTLS staff have been utilizing some of these tools for the past year. One of them is Instant Messaging. All of our Consulting, Management and LINC team members are available to respond to your questions via IM. Currently LTLS uses AOL software for this service. To check to determine if staff are online go to the LTLS Directory Web Page to check. It is a great tool.

Trustee Connections

Today the LTLS Consulting and Communications team launched a new electronic publication -- Trustee Connections. The purpose of this publication is to provide information about issues that face trustees as stewards of public libraries in local communities. Today's issue has the following pieces of information included: a welcome, 2007 Election information, Open Meetings Act information, and information about upcoming workshops for trustees.
