We've received word from the Illinois State Library that OCLC has been chosen as the statewide Cataloging and Resource Sharing vendor for the next two years. OCLC member libraries will receive letters and two-year agreements soon, with information about costs as well. Costs, which were held close to FY2011 levels, will remain the same for the two-year contractual period. The ISL/OCLC agreements must be signed and returned within 60 days (except for schools). Please watch for the official letter in June.
The Illinois Heartland Library System will continue to be the OCLC billing agent. OCLC bills will be sent out, after July 1, 2011, by IHLS.
